We did some mouse painting today!!

 

The morning class started the day mixing paint to create new colors. We painted with q-tips that were cut in half! The small q-tips force us to use our pinching fingers, just like we want to when holding a writing tool! We enjoyed being the little painting mice from our story!

 

 

The afternoon started with puzzles. We even did some giant floor

jigsaw puzzles with our friends.

 

At circle this morning, we sang our ABC's, color and shape songs. We also did some counting into the whisper phones.

 

 

The afternoon class sang our ABC song and did a quick calendar that

focused on the months of the year and the date. Then we ordered

our number mice on our spots.

 

 

We are really improving on our large motor skills. We balanced on one foot, jumped with both feet off the floor and did some line work!

 

 

Miss Elaine joined us in the morning to work on making horizontal and diagonal lines that helped a hungry mouse get to some yummy cheese.

 

 

 

In the afternoon, we had fun mixing some mouse paint!

 

 

We enjoyed a fun story about a hungry mouse that ate many

colorful and tasty foods!
