A mouse at school?

This month we will be learning along side of some very clever mice. We will use stories, featuring mice, to learn some basic concepts! We also will be focusing on answering "What?' questions this month.

We started our morning working our fingers in playdough. We also had fun winding up some little toys and watching what they could do.

The afternoon began with coloring some things that are blue. We will use them to complete an activity later today.

In our morning circle, we continued learning about the alphabet and colors through singing. We also sang our shape song.

In the afternoon, we began to learn about the calendar. We discovered that one of our friends celebrated her birthday yesterday.
Happy Birthday, Friend!!

We continued some motor skill work by walking ON a line. Later this week we may get tricky and walk backwards and sideways!

Miss Kathy shared a story about a mouse that went to school! He found many new things, but the best find was new friends.

In the morning, we made some Mat Men. We named body part and decided which parts go at the top, middle and bottom of our bodies.

The afternoon class completed an activity where we cut apart some blue pictures and glued them in the correct place around the word BLUE.

We enjoyed some play time with our friends and
had bananas and crackers for snack.
