Today we...

 

warmed up our fingers with play doh, when we arrived.

Squeeze, poke, pound, roll, press-what fun!

 

 

We sang our ABC's and the RED & GREEN songs at circle. We asked for a specific color of object, using a full sentence. The morning class also worked with shapes, while the afternoon class completed a quick calendar.

 

 

Our new skill this week is walking on our tip-toes!

 

 

Miss Kathy shared a book about another hungry mouse. What a mess he made! We learned that mice like to come out at night.

 

This morning we worked with the rock crayons to make vertical & horizontal lines, a cross and a circle. Look for our good work in our backpacks!

 

 

This afternoon we did some review work. We remembered to use our thumb, pointer and tall finger to grasp our writing tool. We listened and watched as Miss Kathy sang a song and drew some shapes for us. We drew a circle, square and triangle. Then we enjoyed listening to the Mat Man song and working on drawing our own Mat Man. We are bringing our drawings home today!

 

 

 

At snack we slurpped some applesauce with a straw and enjoyed a cookie!
