More Mouse colors....

Our morning started with finger/fine motor and visual perceptual work using beads, blocks and puzzles.

At circle, the morning class sang the ABC's and our color songs. We also used the microphone to practice saying complete sentences about
different colored objects.

In the afternoon, we sang the alphabet song, read our color words and completed a quick calendar. That led to a big discussion about holidays. We talked about how we just can't change the calendar to December because we are anxious for Christmas... The months always come in the same order every year. We also talked about the fact that we don't have school on some holidays, but we do on others. Great thinkers!

Miss Melani brought eggs and spoons today! Balancing was tricky over the obstacle course, but we did it!

What happens if you drop an egg?
It breaks...but, you can fix it!

Miss Kathy shared a book about a sneaky, little, brown mouse that played in some paint. I was surprised at how well the children remembered the story from yesterday. In the afternoon, the kiddos even remembered what color some of the mixes made! Tomorrow we mix our own paint!!

Miss Julie had a fun concepts activity using mice for our morning group. We had to follow directions to color the mice. Then we cut and glued our mice to the TOP, MIDDLE or BOTTOM of a clock!

Miss Kathy's Wednesday afternoon group worked on correct pencil grasp by doing a fun activity called scribble stop! We got to color in our school books!

Nice grasp on that writing tool!
Miss Julie's Wednesday afternoon group played a sequencing game with
Hickory. Dickory, Dock.

We had a fun day!
