A happy day!
We started our morning with books and puzzles.
Happy to see our friends! |
Or afternoon began with partner work. We ordered the capital
letters of the alphabet, then matched the lower case letters.
We sang the ABC's & color songs in the morning. Then we had fun
following directions with the shaky eggs!
The afternoon class completed the calendar, then worked through a
sound sort. We had 3 letters & many pictures. We picked a picture,
said the name aloud, decided which letter made the initial sound,
then placed the picture below the letter. These guys are good!
Miss Kathy is sharing a book about feeling happy. It will take a couple
of days to complete. It helps us think of what ,makes us happy and how
it makes us feel inside when we are happy. The morning class started today
& the afternoon will start tomorrow.
Miss Melani brought a special obstacle course for us. We picked flowers
and carried it through the obstacle course, then took the flower to one
of our teachers. That made our teachers happy and we felt happy, too!
Miss Julie and her morning group heard a story called, "Happy Is...". then they worked finding pictures that showed happy faces.
The rest of the morning students worked on counting sets of blocks
and finding the number to tell how many.
In the afternoon, Miss Cindy & Miss Kathy worked on writing the capital
"M" & "N" in our school books.
Miss Julie & her afternoon group listened to a story called "Happy Is...".
Then they had fun watching a PIXAR short and identifying the feelings
that the animated characters were feeling. That was fun!
