A butterfly kind of day...

We started the day coloring a paper butterfly. We tried hard to make
the sides look the same, because butterfly wings are symmetrical!
The teachers are going to do some butterfly magic and we will have a
surprise to bring home with these butterflies on Friday!

We enjoyed a few minutes observing the ladybugs.

The morning class sang the ABC song and some color songs. We also
counted bees, caterpillars and ants in our whisper phones.

The afternoon class completed the calendar lesson. We are learning that
it is usually sunny & windy. We also sang a new song about the months
of the year.Miss Kathy shared a learning poster about things a butterfly
may do during the day, with the afternoon class.

Miss Melani had another fun obstacle course for us today.
We acted out the life cycle of a butterfly!

Miss Julie & her morning group did a color, cut & glue activity to
 sequence the butterfly life cycle.

Miss Kathy & Miss Pam worked on some spatial concepts and size
 concepts with their morning groups.

In the afternoon Miss Julie & her group continued working on a following instructions insect book from last week.

Miss Cindy & Miss Pam worked on correctly forming capital
 "K" & "A" in our school books.

We were busy today!
