Terrific Tuesday!!

**Please, check the special message about Halloween at the end of today's blog.**

It's Tuesday, so that means outside play day! What a fun way to start the week!

We tried a new, and VERY tricky, skill today...
hopping on one foot more than one time!

Let's get the sand out of our shoes before we go inside!

We enjoyed our ABC's, color songs and Halloween chants at circle. The calendar was completed in the afternoon. We discovered that there are only
3 more days until Halloween!

We continued learning about spooky Halloween creatures. Today, Miss Kathy had a silly wig and a big, black cape to show us! Many of us wanted to try them on. We were not scared. Scary creatures are only in books and movies. Some people like to dress up in costumes for trick or treat.
It's fun to get a little scared!

Miss Kathy read a book about a witch that tricked some ghosts into leaving their house. Boy, those ghosts found a way to get their house back!

We all got some paper ghosts. In the morning, we had to listen carefully to know what color to make each ghost. Then we cut them apart, ON the lines.

In the afternoon, we wrote numbers on each ghost before we cut them out.

We had delicious grapes for snack!

We will have a Halloween Party on Friday, however, students are not permitted to wear Halloween costumes to school. As part of our celebration,
we will have some dress up time!
I, also, ask that no candy come to class.
We will have some fun & yummy snacks here.
Please, don't hesitate to call or email
with questions or concerns.
