Look what we did today...

 

Our day began with sharing some good books with friends and solving puzzles.

It got our brains and bodies ready to learn!

 

 

It's fun to work with Miss Julie!

 

 

 

We sang our alphabet and color songs at circle. We also are working to answer the question,"What is your name?", with a complete sentence. Some of us are even saying our first and last names! The afternoon class completed a calendar lesson and the morning counted into the whisper phones.

Miss Melani brought a fun obstacle course that challenged our ball skills!

 

 

 

 

Miss Kathy shared a book about a school that had a special day - picture day!

We will have our special day for pictures tomorrow!

All children will have a picture taken. If you would like to purchase pictures of your child, you need to send in the form from online orders or complete and return the packet that was sent home (send money, too). Each child will have an individual picture and a class (group) picture taken tomorrow.

Miss Julie played a fun game, called YES & NO!

We had to listen very closely to her questions to give the correct answer. We each got to hold a YES card and a NO card, to help us answer.

 

 

In the afternoon, Miss Julie played the YES & NO game with her

Wednesday group.

 

 

Miss Kathy's Wednesday group worked in our school books. We learned & practiced the correct way to form a capital "L". We first built it with a big & little line. Next, we used a small slate, a small piece of chalk (small to help us practice a correct grasp), a small wet sponge and a dry cloth to form the "L", with a WET-DRY-TRY technique.
