FUN FRIDAY!!

Friday is our favorite day!! We had great things to touch and explore in the sensory table. The afternoon class had free choice play, too!

We sang about orange and blue and then answered questions about "WHO" had different orange objects. We used the whisper phones to count the orange objects in the morning. The afternoon class completed the calendar lesson.

We are having fun with our special Halloween chants. We all like to

participate with the 5 little pumpkins. If you would like to try it at home,

here are the words:

Five little pumpkins sitting on the gate,

The first one said, "Oh my, it's getting late!"

The second one said, "There are witches in the air!"

The third one said, "But, we don't care."

The forth one said, "Let's run and run and run!"

The fifth one said, "I'm ready for some fun!"

The whooo went the wind and out went the lights,

And the five little pumpkins rolled out of sight.

Today Miss Kathy had two books for us. We voted to see which story we wanted to hear. In the morning, we voted to hear about Franklin's Halloween. The afternoon class voted to hear Trick Or Treat, Little Critter.

In the stories there were young critters dressed in Halloween costumes.

Miss Kathy showed us a spooky mask. She put it on and we were not afraid because we knew it was just Miss Kathy wearing a mask. Most of us were excited to take a turn wearing the mask.
