FUN  FRIDAY !

 

This morning, Miss Kathy made a mess...

She dumped a whole bucket of colored blocks on the floor!

We helped her sort the colors and then we told her (in a complete sentence) which color of blocks we wanted to use for building.

 

 

 

 We began our afternoon with FUN FRIDAY free choice play!

 

 

 

In our morning circle, we sang some color songs and the alphabet. Miss Kathy introduced a new rhyme about 5 little pumpkins.

 

 

 

The afternoon class sang our songs, listened to 5 Little Pumpkins

and learned more about the calendar.

 

We practiced walking in a line, as we also worked on our motor skills. We enjoyed dancing The Freeze, too!

 

 

Miss Julie brought the Yes or No game again! The morning class, and Miss Julie's Friday afternoon group, were good listeners.

 

 

 

 

Miss Kathy and Miss Cindy introduced the correct way to form a

capital letter "L" with our Friday groups. We know to start at the top. We built the "L" with a big and little line, practiced with a wet-dry-try and made rainbow "L" in our schoolbooks.

 

 

Morning free play time found most of us building with the big blocks!

 

 

The afternoon class wishes our sweet friend a speedy recovery from a tonsilectomy... We miss you!
