The baker is a person in your neighborhood....

We explored some of the grains that are used to make breads. We put our hands in flour, rice, corn and oats!

The afternoon kids wrote their names. We are improving!

The morning class sang their songs and the afternoon class
completed the calendar.

Singing and dancing with rainbow scarves is so fun!

We did some cookie counting and patterning.

Miss Kathy shared a book about many different kinds of bread.

We were then turned into bread. You have to put in the ingredients, roll out the dough and knead it, then bake it in the oven. Mmmm...

Miss Julie had a fun game of "What goes together?"

The afternoon class practiced writing the letter "U" in our school books.

We had fun being builders, too!

We enjoyed a yummy snack of crackers. A baker makes the crackers
and bakes them in the oven.

Have a fun weekend! Be on the watch for community helpers in your neighborhood!
