Hurry, hurry, drive that fire truck...

It was a day to celebrate another community helper-
fire fighters!

We started our day exploring magnets. In the morning, we also did some cutting with scissors. The afternoon class did their name writing.

We had so much fun with the magnets in the rice tubs, that we had to take a short break from the room so the floor could get cleaned up. It was a windy day, so we took the pin wheels outside. We practiced walking in a line, too.
(We hear that you need to walk in a line in kindergarten!)
Happy children...

We sang our circle songs in the morning!
We completed the calendar and sang some songs in the afternoon.

Miss Melani came to lead us in yoga.

Miss Julie shared a book that told all about being a firefighter.

Miss Kathy helped us make a very awesome fire truck using some
different shapes. We really had to LISTEN as she gave us the directions
to put our trucks together. Our trucks look so good we are going to hang
 them up in the classroom!

As we ate our snack, we watched a short video about fireman.

It was another fun day at preschool!
