Wonderful Wednesday!

 

We began by exploring objects on the light table. There were shapes of different sizes and colors. In the afternoon, we also played with the ABC beanbags.

 

We sang our circle songs and completed the calendar in the afternoon.

We stretched and strengthened our bodies by doing yoga with Miss Melani.

 

 

We helped Miss Kathy read a lift the flap number book. It was fun to see the number change into different objects when we lifted the flaps. We counted the objects. We also learned a new sign in the morning...boat. Tomorrow we will read the alphabet part of the book.

The morning class worked on counting. We are learning that if things are in a pile, we can't really count them-we have to move them as we count them.

 

 

In the afternoon we worked in our school books. We reviewed our letter "L" and then worked on drawing a cross and a square.

 

We enjoyed peaches and cheerios for snack!!
