On Wednesday we...
enjoyed sorting by shape, color or size in the morning.

The afternoon class explored the letters of the alphabet. We took turns doing crayon rubbings of letters and finding letters. It was exciting to see all the wonderful knowledge of the alphabet in the afternoon!

The morning class sang their circle songs and did some nice turtle talking!

We tried something new in the afternoon - we walked forward on a line as we counted to 10. Then we walked backwards on the line as we counted backwards from 10!

Miss Julie told us a fun story about a little girl that tried out all the things in the bear family's home. Then she asked us questions, that started with the word "WHO" , about the story.
We all really liked the story and listened closely!

In the afternoon, the children played a game with alphabet bean bags. We had to catch the bean bag, name the letter, then try to toss it inside the big circle. We also practiced writing our names.

Miss Melani came to do yoga with us!
Miss Kathy shared a number book with us, too!
Our delicious snack was tortillas and peanut butter. We got to spread our own peanut butter! YUM!!

A Special day for our birthday king!!!

The birthday king asked a friend to help him decorate his crown!
