More groovy buttons....

 

When we arrived at school we got to explore lots of groovy buttons. Some were big and some were little. There were many pretty colors, too

 

 

 

 The afternoon class practiced drawing some basic shapes

and writing their names.

 

We sang our morning circle songs. We liked shaking the shakey eggs fast, slow & in all kinds of places around our bodies.

 

The afternoon class completed the calendar.

 

We read a story about all of the things a kitten can do. We tried, too. Kittens & kids can jump, crawl, roll and curl up!

 

Miss Julie had another fun story today. Poor Toad lost a button. Frog and his other friends helped him find his button. But they had to find the right one. Was it round? square? thick? thin? 2 holes? 4 holes?

 

The afternoon class had some number practice today. We put numerals in order and then counted and made sets of buttons to match the numerals.
