Friday Fun!!
*Remember...you can enlarge a picture just by clicking on it*
When our morning class arrived they worked to build their finger strength by finding buttons hidden in the thera-putty. Next, they rolled the putty into a long snake and cut it with scissors.

It was a special start for the afternoon class as we celebrate a birthday and say a fond farewell to one of our friends, so we got to start our day with free choice play in the kitchen and block area. Miss Kathy even pulled out the dinosaurs!!

We sang our color songs and other circle songs in the morning. The afternoon class completed the calendar. The birthday king had fun as he invited a friend to help him decorate his crown.

Signing the number 3.

Signing the number 4.

To get our wiggles out, we danced the freeze!

Miss Julie had another exciting story. Today we answered "where" questions about a slow and steady tortoise that ran a race with a fast hare!

Miss Julie is a great story teller...

The afternoon class learned to write the letter 'F" in our school books. We built F with a big line that comes from the top. We added a little line across the top and another little line from the middle. We wrote "F" on slates and then in our books. Remember, we always start our capital letters at the top!

The morning class made their own snacks by spreading
 peanut butter on tortillas.

It was a special cupcake treat from the birthday king in the aternoon!

YUM!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!
