Fun Friday!!!

We explored the wooden lines and curves this morning. We could build geometric shapes, letters and Mat Man, with the lines and curves.
Some of us had cutting practice with scissors.

The afternoon class began with Fun Friday! We look forward to Friday because we get free play first. We do this because we always seem to be so busy every other day that we run out of time to play. Play IS a child's work!

The afternoon class wrote their names!

The morning class sang the ABC's and a new song, called Tap, Tap, Tap. We used two of the big wooden lines to practice listening and following directions.

We completed the calendar in the afternoon.

Miss Kathy sang our book today. It was about all the things we do on our busy days. The children joined in and we had fun.

Miss Julie brought a nursery rhyme game for us. We had a short and a tall clock. She also brought a smooth and a rough mouse. That mouse ran up and down the clock and we helped!

Half of the students in the afternoon practiced writing their numerals 1-12 on a clock, while the other half played Miss Julie's game.
Next week, we will switch groups.

We all worked on our large motor skills, this morning, by moving through the obstacle course.

Have a great weekend and stay well!
