Fun Friday!

The morning started with book time
 and wind up toys!

The afternoon started with free choice
 Fun Friday play!

Of course, we wrote our names, too!

We completed our morning songs and counting. We tried some patterning today and everyone did a nice job telling me what comes next in the pattern!

The afternoon class completed calendar
and sang our songs.

Miss Kathy shared another book based on the nursery rhyme Over in the Meadow, but this time we were somewhere in the ocean. The afternoon class helped read the repeating lines of the story!

The afternoon class worked on the letter formation of a capital "D" in our school books.

Miss Julie introduced us to Hungry Thing. The children took turns feeding him and pretending to be the Hungry Thing asking for food. Many of the children had to listen for rhymes to figure out what the Hungry Thing wanted to eat ("Feed Me! I want a tickle." Tickle sounds like pickle.).

There was time for free play this morning.

We had a Birthday King in our afternoon class.
Happy Birthday!!
