We are ready for Halloween!!

 

We made some spooky pictures today. We put a piece of paper over some  textured Halloween pictures. We laid the crayons on their side and rubbed over the paper. That is so tricky to remember to keep the crayons on their side. We used Halloween colors and our pictures looked great!

 

We sang our circle songs and counted pumpkins and ghosts!
 

 

The afternoon class completed the calendar and were excited to find out that tomorrow is Halloween!

 

Miss Kathy read some stories today about trick or treating and costume parties. Then she put on a witch hat, a silly wig and a scary mask! We weren't afraid of her because we know witches, monsters and ghosts are not real. They are only in story books, movies or on people at Halloween. We got pretty brave and tried them on ourselves! We laughed!!

Oh, that is scary!!

 

Miss Melani came and led us in yoga. She also set up a fun Halloween obstacle course for us! We jumped over hurdles and ran around pumpkins!
 

                

 

 

Miss Julie had a fun activity for us about a mouse. He went behind, on, around and in, until he found a perfect house!
 

 

             

               

 

The afternoon class did a little cutting work to see how we each have a real skeleton inside our bodies.
 

 

It was a fun day!
