JACK-O-LANTERN FUN!!
When we arrived at school today, we got our fingers all warmed up for the exciting events to come! We used tongs to pick up and sort Halloween shaped pasta. In the afternoon, we also worked on ordering numbers to 10!
We completed our circle time and calendar. Miss Kathy read a book that showed many fun faces that you might see on a jack-o-lantern, to help us get ideas about what kind of face we wanted to make for our pumpkins.
Before we carved our pumpkins, we wanted to play with them one more time. We rolled and then, we rolled the pumpkins. Tricky pumpkins don't always roll the direction you try to send them. The afternoon class played a pass the pumpkin relay!
Then the time arrived...time to carve!
It was a sticky, slippery, fun kind of day!
We enjoyed being with our friends today.
