It's cold outside...

The cool weather had all of us excited today!

We started our day working our fine motor skills with blocks, beads, colorful toys and ABC beanbags.

It's nice when we work together to clean up!

We completed the circle songs and calendar. The afternoon class made another cool pattern today!

Miss Kathy shared a different version of The Wheels On The Bus. Parts of it were the same and parts were different. We are enjoying singing this song. Do you know the song? Please, sing it with us at home!

The babies on the bus go, "waa, waa, waa..."

The parents on the bus go, "Shh, shh, shh..."

The morning class had fun building mat man. We made our first one all together. Then we made another one with a friend!

The afternoon class made the letter "T" today. Miss Kathy demonstrated how to make a capital T. It's a big line down and a little line across. We first made one on a slate with chalk, then we washed it away with a tiny sponge (we only can wash away the lines, not a rub, rub wash of the whole slate), then we dry the wet lines. Finally, we write another T with chalk. It's called wet-dry-try. It's a great way to practice writing a letter multiple times without
feeling like drill overkill.  Everyone made nice letter T's in their school books. We all agreed that T is easy!!

Miss Kathy told us that she would not be in school tomorrow. She will be flying on an airplane to visit her friend in Seattle. But, she has planned an extra special day for us!  The blog will be published tomorrow. Remember...no school all next week. Then we will return on October 22. See you then!
