Working together...

We had fun working with play-doh and toys this morning. The toys all required us to use our fingers to work them. Nice fine motor work!

The afternoon started with pattern block turkeys! We had a template of a turkey. We had to figure out which pattern blocks go together to make the turkey. Our brains were working hard!

We sang our ABC's, the orange and purple songs and the shape song at morning circle. We worked on finding body parts and various other concepts,
 using the shaky eggs.

The afternoon circle had us singing some learning songs and
 answering questions about our names and ages.

We worked our large motor muscles by moving along in a line doing our skills. We jumped, walked backwards, walked on toes and side stepped. The afternoon class also tried some hopping!

Miss Kathy shared another fact filled poster about turkeys. We learned that turkeys hatch from eggs. Baby turkeys are called poults.
 And turkeys fly into trees at night to sleep.

The morning class cut apart the name turkeys from Tuesday,that they had traced the letters on. Then we ordered the letters to spell our name and glued them on a paper. Check our backpacks today!

The afternoon class colored turkeys today. They cut them out and glued them down to make a pattern! Look for them in their backpacks!

Morning class had free time, too!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OUR BIRTHDAY KING!!!

We had another fun day at school!
