It's chilly out there!

We started our day with outside play!
It was a little chilly, but it just made us move faster!
We had no complaints about the temperature!

The morning class sang the ABC's and the purple song. We reviewed some concepts using the shaky eggs & practiced counting into our whisper phones.

The afternoon class completed the calendar lesson & sang a couple of songs. We had a lesson about the letter "H". We learned how to build "H" with
two big lines and one little line. We practiced writing it on the carpet with
our magic writing finger. Then we learned the sound it says and named
pictures of things that start with the sound. Later this week we will be
writing "H" in our school books.

We also continued some tricky patterns!

The morning class worked with balls today. We rolled and kicked!

Miss Kathy shared a book that gave us a brief introduction of Thanksgiving.

The morning class wrote their names on some turkeys. Then we colored them. Later this week we will cut and order the letters of our name.

The afternoon class worked on alphabet fluency by ordering the letters
of the alphabet.  We named an animal for each letter and took a close
look at the lower case letters, too.

Free play time this morning!
