November brings cooler days...

perfect weather to play outside!!

 

We were happy to welcome a new friend to our morning class today!

Welcome Carter!

 

Our day started with outside play!

We tried some galloping!

 

 

 

We sang our circle songs. We have a new color song...it's purple!

The morning class practiced answering questions about the purple toys,

using complete sentences. The afternoon class also completed the calendar.

We are learning about the days of the week now.

 

 

Miss Kathy shared a riddle book about different types of transportation.

We will be learning about vehicles that take us places. Transportation

 is the word we use to talk about ways we go from one place to another.

 

 

 

This morning Miss Kathy made a big mess!

We helped her sort many types of transportation by color. That was easy!

Next, we sorted by type of vehicle! Everyone counted how many

of each vehicle type we had.

 

 

The afternoon class worked with numbers! We identified numerals to 10 and put them in order.Then we played a quick game of "What's Missing?"

 

We celebrated the big 5 with one of our friends today!
