FUN FRIDAY!!

Our morning began with sensory tub play, bikes and wagons! We all took turns working on the next piece of our transportation collages.

Our afternoon class loved having open play time to start their day!
Collages were worked on, too.

We sang our morning songs about the ABC's and the color purple. We practiced reading our first names and saying a complete sentence to tell others what our name is. We also all quickly found our special letter or initial.

The afternoon class worked on names, the ABC's and the purple song. They also completed the calendar.

Miss Kathy shared a silly book about a form of transportation that we have with us everyday... our feet! It was a Dr. Seuss book called The Foot Book.
Then we used our feet to walk in many different ways.
We tip-toed, jumped, side stepped, went backwards and we even
hopped on one foot in the afternoon!

The morning students used their feet to show opposites.

Down feet...

Her feet...

His feet...

High feet... Low feet...

Under feet... Over feet...

On feet... Off feet...

The morning students enjoyed some free play time!

Miss Julie and her afternoon group worked on placing forms of transportation "WHERE" they would travel. Transportation can move us through the air, the water or on the ground.

Miss Kathy & Miss Cindy worked on the letter "E" with their Friday groups.

We had a great week. In honor of our Veteran's, there will be no school on Tuesday, November 11. We will return to class on Wednesday!
