YEE HAW...
The rodeo showed up at school today!

The creative juices were flowing this morning as we began by
creating works of art. We used crayons, scissors & glue.

The afternoon class started the day with outside play, since the
weather was more cooperative today.

There were some Power Rangers spotted on the playground...

We sang our morning songs at circle.

The afternoon class worked on alphabet fluency, letter sounds and calendar.
We are enjoying a fun, new song about the months of the year. We can
already sing it because we already know the months of the year!

We all joined in to recite some of the nursery rhymes that we
 have been reading.

We had a visit from the pink cowgirl today.

 She brought some rodeo
centers to challenge our motor skills.

"Howdy, Ma'am!"

We worked in groups today to discover, continue or create patterns.

Miss Julie brought a book for us to read together in the afternoon.
Then she played a cowboy themed game of I Have...Who has...?,
with her Wednesday group.

Enjoy this long weekend. We will return next Tuesday!
