Welcome Back...
to a short week!
*No school on Thursday or Friday this week.
Tucson celebrates RODEO!

The morning class enjoyed a chilly time on the
 playground when they arrived.

The afternoon class began with creating a beautiful project.
They used paper, crayons, scissors and glue.

Don't you just love bunny clouds?

We sang our circle songs in the morning, with a focus on letters,
 colors and shapes.

The afternoon circle completed calendar.

Miss Kathy shared a classic nursery rhyme, with a silly twist.
It was about a woman that looked for a bone for her dog.

We had fun dancing to Head, Shoulders, Knees & Toes for
 a movement break.

Today our lesson focus was on numbers. The morning class sang
a song about numbers, then colored and used scissors to cut numbers 1-10.

The afternoon class worked with numbers to 20!
They focused on the way the numerals, in a base ten system,
follow a pattern. The children wrote the numbers 1-10 and
then colored to 20 with a pattern.

It took a little longer for us to get out the door today because
we actually had to wear jackets to school. :)
