FUN FRIDAY!
*Caution: The following pictures, of children having fun learning, may cause you to smile :)
This morning Miss Kathy was feeling ornery again. She dumped blocks
and transportation toys all over the floor. We sorted all of these items
into 6 colors. Then after we checked to make sure we got each color in
the correct basket, Miss Cindy dumped everything out again so we could
sort by type of item. We are getting very good at sorting!
This afternoon we started with free choice play. We could choose to
build train tracks, build roads, build with Lego's, play outside on the
bike or wagon or play ball.

We sang our circle songs in the morning. We learned a new song/dance.
It was Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes! It was fun!
The afternoon added a calendar lesson. We also worked as a team
to order the balloons from 1-20. We also had fun with Head,
Shoulders, Knees & Toes.
We used the big book of Nursery Rhymes today. We read about Jack & Jill.
We re read 1-2, Buckle My Shoe & Humpty Dumpty.
Miss Kathy & Miss Cindy worked with their Friday groups to match/identify
the capital letters of the alphabet.

In the afternoon, Miss Cindy & Miss Kathy worked with their groups to
write a capital "G" in our school books.
Miss Julie worked with her Friday groups, in the morning & afternoon, with Humpty Dumpty. First, they used pictures to review the story and put the cards in the correct order. Then, they made predictions about what will happen when a snowman, rock, ball, suction cup ball, balloon and an egg fall off the wall.
Word to all wise eggs...
DO NOT SIT ON WALLS!
We have worked hard all week and are ready to enjoy our weekend!
