Wait until you see how exciting our day was...

 

We warmed up our fingers with some play-doh this morning.

 

 

The afternoon began with water color painting and name writing.

 

 

Miss Melani led us in some calming yoga. Then we practiced walking

up & down stairs, placing one foot on each step.

 

 

We enjoyed singing our learning songs & reviewing counting at circle.

 Calendar was completed in the afternoon.

 

 

Miss Kathy shared a big book nursery rhyme about an egg that sat on a wall!

 

 

 

 

Miss Cindy worked on alphabet skills with a morning group.

 

 

 Miss Julie brought in an egg named Humpty Dumpty, as well as a rock,

a snowball, a bouncy ball, a suction cup ball, a balloon and a putty ball.

Her groups, in the morning and afternoon,

 tried some experiments to see what happened if each item fell off a wall.

They were asked to predict if the item would break, would it be

 loud or quiet, would it bounce or roll...

We learned that if you are an egg, you should not sit on a wall!

 

 

 

 

Miss Kathy & Miss Cindy worked on capital "G" with their afternoon groups.

 

 

The groups will switch on Friday, so everyone will have fun

experimenting with Miss Julie!
