WE WENT ON A BEAR HUNT...
We weren't scared!

Our morning exploration was all about bears again! We added blocks, too!

The afternoon class had a mixed up day.
We started with a really cool activity!
We re-read our color bear sentences from yesterday. Then we learned that we would be working as teams to complete our activity. To make our teams we each got a picture card. We had to find who had a card that went with our card (ice cream goes with cone, cat goes with dog, chips go with salsa...). Then we took our clip boards and moved through 6 color centers with our team. At each center we counted how bears were in the basket. We found the place on our paper for that color and wrote the number there. Then while we waited for everyone to get finished, we colored a bear.
Wow!
What a nice cooperative lesson! There was lots of movement,
noise and listening involved.
These kiddos are going to be ready for kindergarten!

Miss Kathy read a classic story about a family that decides to go hunting for a bear! Then Miss Melani took us all on a real bear hunt!

Walk like a bear!

Do I have to walk in the mud?

It's not so bad...

YES, I love mud!

If socks are inside out...sorry :)

Miss Kathy & Miss Pam worked with their Wednesday morning groups
to complete bear counting and number work.

Miss Julie worked with her Wednesday morning group to build
snowmen of different sizes.

We completed circle songs and calendar. Then we all enjoyed peeling
our own cuties for snack!

You have to love a good photo bomb!
