Snow? In Class?

YES!

 

We started our day by making snow!

 

 

What happens when water gets cold? SNOW!

 

We also enjoyed exploring at the light table.

 

 

Miss Melani took us all out to play in the snow.

We put on mittens, of course, and had

 The Great Snowball Battle of 2015!!

 

 

 

Snowflake, snowflake touch my nose.

Snowflake, snowflake touch my toes.

Snowflake, snowflake touch my knee.

How many snowflakes melt on me?

The morning class continued the snowflake counting theme. We worked in small groups to open a tricky fastener, tag bag and identify the numeral inside. Then we looked in the secret pocket to find some snowflakes. We counted to make sure the number of snowflakes matched the numeral on the bag.

 

 

 

In the afternoon, Miss Kathy & Miss Cindy worked on writing the letter "U" in our schoolbooks, with our Wednesday groups. Miss Pam's group worked on alphabet fluency by ordering the letters with a friend!
