Painting a caterpillar....

When we arrived at school today, we got to paint a caterpillar body. We used beautiful colors. Thanks to Abi's Mom for helping! While we waited our turn to paint, we worked puzzles & enjoyed book time.

After circle and calendar time, we had fun with a little Hokey Pokey!

Today Miss Kathy shared a poster with us. It had pictures, & explained the cycle, from egg to caterpillar to butterfly. We checked on our little caterpillars. They are growing. Miss Julie showed us a chrysalis from the big, fat, green, tomato caterpillar that we found this past fall.

The morning class worked with letter building using the lines & curves.

practicing recognizing rhyme.

We finished off the cuties at snack today! We also had another favorite...Veggie Straws. Some of us discovered we could build some letters with them!!
