Terrific Tuesday!
We got ready to learn by passing the bean bag in small circles.

We sang our circle songs and the afternoon class did a super speedy calendar.

We did our warm up exercises to build our upper body strength.

Then Miss Kathy read a book that told us all ablout ladybugs. Did you know that they hatch from eggs?

We then had fun trying to walk like a ladybug as we carried our paper on our backs.  That was tricky...we had to move slowly.

It was fun to make our own ladybug puzzle. We cut it apart and then fitted it back together. After we glued it down, we colored it.

The afternoon class also worked in our school books.

This is how we "pinch" the writing tool.

We had a delicious snack of bananas & Mini-Nilla Wafers.

SUPER EXCITING DAY!!!
We began our day by gluing the caterpillars, that we colored & cut this week, into a pattern. We can read our patterns, too, so be sure to ask us to read it for you!

Miss Julie read a fun rhyming book about garden critters. We tried moving like the critters. We jumped, pounced, crawled, zipped and nibbled!

Then it was time...we said a fond farewell to our beautiful Painted Lady butterflies. It was so exciting to watch them fly away!

Can you find the butterfly in this picture?

We then made a pretty ring to take home & help us remember our insect friends.

We had a sweet snack, thank you to bees! HONEY...
