RECESS DAY!!

 

We started our day on the playground with our friends.

And, yes, it was cold!

But, we had fun!
 

 

 

We had another rehearsal with Miss Diane's class.

 We sang our Christmas songs and jingled our bells!
 

 

 

 

It was time to get up and move so we had fun practicing some of our skills.

There was the "reindeer prance" in the morning and the "elf boogie" in the afternoon!

 

 

 

Miss Kathy shared another story featuring one of her favorite storybook characters -

BEAR!
We found out what happened when he tried to stay up all night for Christmas.

 

The morning class practiced making some simple patterns with some ornaments. Then, we colored a line of Christmas trees in a pretty pattern.
RED GREEN RED GREEN...

 

In the afternoon we worked on drawing shapes. Miss Kathy showed us how to turn our geometric shapes into Christmas shapes!

 

 

 

We had some open play time this morning.

 

 

 

 

 

Happy Birthday boy!!

Thanks Dad and brother for the special treat!

FUN FRIDAY!!

 

 The morning fun began with time outside. We had some different textures to feel

 in our tubs: moon sand, dry instant mashed potatoes and dry rice. The children

 took turns pedaling the trike, pulling & riding in the wagon, too.

The afternoon class had fun with free choice play. We had the outside options, too.

 

 

 

We had our first rehearsal with Miss Diane's class.

 We sang our songs and jingled our bells!

We also had a group dance for our video finale!

 

 

 

Miss Kathy/Miss Pam read a book with a famous storybook character - Little Critter!

He wanted to all the Christmas decorating work all by himself!

 

 

 

 

 

 

The morning students made a great decorated Christmas tree! The glue will dry and we will bring them home on Tuesday to decorate our houses!

 

 

In the afternoon, we made a cool tree, too! As we decorated our tree we identified the numerals 0-10, read color words and worked to color in the lines!

 

 

We had a busy week!
