Busy days!

We began our day with drawing. We were able to draw

 anything we wanted to make. The afternoon students wrote
about their pictures, too!

 

 

We sang the alphabet & color songs this morning. We also

worked on our names. We found our initials or spelled our names

on the alphabet poster.

 

In the afternoon we worked with the alphabet, sang a color song and completed the calendar lesson. We also worked on names and birthdays.

 

Miss Kathy read a favorite story where we found out cat's favorite

color this morning. Then we told everyone, using a complete sentence,

what our favorite color is. We used the microphone!

 

 

In the afternoon Miss Kathy shared a book about things that might

 happen in kindergarten.

 

 

The morning class worked in teams to sort colors or order the capital

letters to a model.

 

 

 

The afternoon class practiced making patterns with our bodies!

We also measured some different things around the room to see how many tag bags long they were.

Free choice play was the best end to a day!

 

 

We said a fond farewell to one of our friends this afternoon...
