FUN FRIDAY!!

 

You know it's going to be a fun day when you see one of our

beloved kindergarten teachers dressed for success!
 

 

Our school had a VIP visit today! He stopped by room 8 to say hello!

(We were all a twitter and not able to get a photo, but if you check the Amphitheater

 website, I'm sure some photos will be available soon.)
 

 

Our day began with outdoor large motor & fine motor/sensory play!
 

 

We sang our learning songs in the morning. We are getting so skilled

 at cooperation & turn taking as we have Team Tower Challenges!
 

 

We worked with the alphabet and sang the Learning Letter Sounds

song in the afternoon.
 

 

Movement break was fun with scarves!

 

Pete the Cat was back by popular demand! We watched and

 listened to two stories about that cool cat.

 His motto is "It's all good."

 

Miss Julie shared a story about feeling sad with her Friday groups. Then

 they watched a Pixar Short Video about a sheep that was proud of his wool. Then after the farmer sheared him he felt sad.

 

Miss Kathy & Miss Cindy worked on matching, naming and ordering the

 capital letters of the alphabet with their morning groups.

 

In the afternoon we practiced writing X, Y and Z in our school books.
 

 

We had a short free play time in the morning.
