When we arrived today, we quickly colored some pretty flowers for you.

 They will be part of an invitation for you to join us for our end of the year celebration! Be sure to check the backpacks and don't forget to R.S.V.P.

 

It's Tuesday and that means outside play day!

We have so much fun with our friends!

 

 

 

 

This morning, we sang our alphabet and showed everyone our special letter

 on the magic ABC poster. We practiced saying a sentence to tell what object, and it's color, that we had. We did some shape work, too.

 

 

This afternoon, we worked on alphabet fluency with capital and

 lower case letters. We also sang the Learning Letter Sounds song

 and completed a calendar lesson.

 

 

We did a review of the feelings that we have been studying. Miss Kathy

shared a story about children that felt happy, sad and angry. We took

turns telling about something that has made us angry. We practiced

some calm down breathing.

 

The morning class worked on building patterns!

 

 

The afternoon class explored some measurement and area,

using the Four Squares. How many small squares will fill the big square

 & the rectangle? How many squares long is the table & the red line?

How many squares tall is our friend?

 

 

We celebrated one of our 5 year old birthday kings!
