Another fun day in preschool!

We started our day by working some puzzles.

We enjoyed singing our circle songs and completing the calendar.

Miss Kathy shared a book with us about what animals do during the 4 seasons. It's spring time now and many animals have babies.

The morning class worked with shapes today. We practiced writiing our names and tracing, then drwaing, a circle, square and triangle. Then some of us made other things from our shapes. Miss Kathy turned her circle into a cat, her square into a window and her triangle into a volcano.

In the afternoon, we practiced the next letter, which was O. Thanks for helping pass out the books, Bryan!

We were lucky to have time to eat a snack & play outside on this beautiful spring day!

Yoga Wednesday....

We began our day exploring geometry using the 4 Squares. Some children chose to work with numbers. The afternoon students practiced writing their names, too!

Miss Melani brought us some new yoga mats. We had fun trying these challenging poses! Yoga not only makes our bodies stronger, it also helps us calm down & be ready to learn.

Miss Julie had a fun game using the Twister mat. We had to listen & following directions.

In the morning we worked on letter identification.

In the afternoon we "shared the pen" & wrote lists of words that start with the same beginning sound as in the word "spring".

After snack we sang our good bye song with our friends!
