WE ARE ALMOST READY....

We started our day by coloring some Christmas pictures.
We practiced our ABC's and our Christmas songs.

The afternoon class had a nice discussion about the days activities.

Miss Kathy read a story about how Santa had to find a team to guide his sleigh. He tried all kinds of animals, even some stinky skunks & silly monkeys, before he found his reindeer.

Oh, not skunks...P U!

Hey you monkeys, don't peek...

We worked our large muscles by doing crab walks, bear walks,
wheelbarrow walks & snake slithers!

It was fun wrapping & decorating our gift bags. Then we put our special hand made gift, just for you, inside our beautiful gift bags!! Oh boy! We will bring them home tomorrow. You can put them under your tree & know there is something, made with love, waiting for you on Christmas morning!

Aren't they pretty?

IT'S STILL COLD OUTSIDE THIS AFTERNOON...
To warm up we worked on lacing cards and building TALL cube towers. Zac did some nice walking down the long hall.

After we did calendar, ABC work & practiced singing our songs for the sing-along, Miss Julie read a nice book about the quiet times of Christmas.

We worked on some special projects. Don't ask...it's a secrect!
We ALL enjoyed our yogurt, raspberries & gingerbread snack!

Have a nice weekend! Remember to R.S.V.P. if you are able to come to the sing-along on Thursday. I want to make sure I have enough cookies!

I am so sad about the school shooting this morning.
Please know that we are watchful at school & that we care very much for the safety & happiness of our children.
Extra hugs tonight...

CHILLY MORNING...FEELS LIKE CHRISTMAS!

We started our day by warming up our cold fingers with lacing cards and unifix cubes!

After we sang our Christmas songs, we walked the stairs. Everyone is getting good at alternating feet on each step!

NICE JOB WAITING FOR YOUR TURN, EVERYONE!

Miss Julie read a story about ways we are quiet at this most exciting time of year.

We had a Santa's workshop time today. Shh...it's a surprise!

DON'T FORGET TO R.S.V.P. IF YOU ARE PLANNING TO JOIN US FOR THE SING-ALONG.

Santa's workshop came to our room today!

We started by stringing beads to warm our fingers.

We practiced our songs for the sing-along. And then danced to The Freeze!

Miss Kathy read a silly story about how Santa found the elves
that help him in his toy workshop.

Santa said, "Oh No..." when the fire breathing dragons tried to help.

Santa said, Oh my..." when he saw all the mail.

Mrs. Claus had to kiss a frog!

We had extra time to play today, as we took turns working on
 some special Christmas projects.

These are the crafts we worked on last week. Don't they look festive?
