FUN TOGETHER!

 

Our day began exploring at the light table, building with

 unifix cubes and working with putty.

 

When the bell rings, it's hands up. Stop, look & listen!

 

Miss Melani brought frogs and hearts for us to walk on,

jump overand balance across!

 Ribbit...We had a frogtastic time!

 

 

Miss Kathy shared a story about how a

a mouse wanted to make a special valentine for

each of his friends.

 

We sang our learning songs in morning circle. We also did some name work. We passed the shakey eggs around the circle and practiced following directions to shake the egg in many different places (behind, under, next to...) and in different ways (fast, slow...).

 

 

The afternoon class sang our learning songs, worked on alphabet fluency

 and phonemic awareness (letter sound associations).

 

Miss Julie worked with her Friday groups. They talked about feelings, what they look like and why people may feel different ways.

 

 

Miss Kathy & Miss Pam worked with their Wednesday groups. In the
morning we practiced writing circles and crosses. Then built towers
and bridges with blocks.

 

 

In the afternoon we wrote capital letter "Q" in our school books!

 

 

Another Busy day!

HEARTS EVERYWHERE!

 

Our day started in a way that makes our hearts happy...

outside recess!

 

 

We sang our morning circle songs and the afternoon class
completed calendar.We began to learn a new color song to
prepare for Valentine's Day-pink!

 

The morning class worked their fine motor skills by opening a tricky tag bag. It had a surprise inside... 2 hearts!

We sorted them into like color groups of pink or purple. Then we counted to find out how many hearts we had all together!

 

 

The afternoon class enjoyed finding hearts in the environment,

using a learning poster!

 

 

We took a quick movement break!

 

 

In the morning the children got some hearts to color by following

 teacher verbal directions.

 

 

 

The afternoon children wrote numerals on their bears.

 

 

It was a very busy day!
