Here's what we did today...

We explored at the light table and completed puzzles when we arrived.

The morning class sang our circle songs and had fun finding
 the shape in the song!

We completed the calendar in the afternoon.

Everyone had fun singing an old favorite...Head, shoulders, knees and toes!

In the morning Miss Kathy shared the rest of the book that we started on Monday. We had fun finding all the differnt shapes in the book.

In the afternoon we had fun helping Miss Kathy fill in the missing rhyming word in a silly animal book.

We learned about writing the capital "A" and will complete our school book soon.

Everyone was happy when it was finally time to have outside recess!!

Terrific Tuesday!

Our day started with exploration of blocks and beads. We use our fine motor skills when work with the blocks and beads.

Some of us practiced cutting in the morning and everyone wrote
 their name in the afternoon.

We completed our morning circle songs. We practiced counting.

The afternoon students "taught" the calendar. Half of the class took turns saying the days of the week. Tomorrow the rest will get to try.

Miss Elaine brought a fun game that let us build silly monsters.

Miss Vicki & Miss Cindy shared a great book that showed ways that many different animals move. We had fun arching, balancing, flapping, howling, marching and performing many more actions.

We had fun building tall and short towers with Miss Kathy. In the afternoon we also used the descriptive words of tall, taller, tallest, short, shorter & shortest.

We had a great day!
