Do you eat plants?

We started our day by drawing our own pictures. We were encouraged to draw something that grows from a seed. We saw pictures of flowers,
watermelons, trees and carrots!

We sang our ABC & shape song in the morning.

We completed the calendar in the afternoon. We found out that
today is the last day of March.

Miss Kathy shared a learning poster that showed different animals eating different parts of a plant. Animals eat plants. We do, too!

Miss Melani had a fun obstacle course today. We got to pretend to be an ant as we moved through this course. It was fun!

Miss Julie led a center where we had to listen and follow directions about flowers. We practiced saying a sentence to describe our flowers.

We were gardeners today! We planted a bean seed! We know that seeds need soil (another name for dirt), water & sunshine to grow! We planted our seeds in a cup and put them outside. We will water them everyday
and watch them closely!

We enjoyed a snack that grew from a seed! We had apples! Miss Kathy showed us how to cut an apple in half and look for the star inside.
The seeds are in the star!!

  1. Did you say March to the kids to see if they were paying attention. I wish it was only March, not ready for summer yet.
