FLOWER POWER!!

Our morning turned into a mess...
Miss Kathy dumped a tub full of toys on the floor.
We helped her pick them up and sort them into baskets, by color.

In the afternoon, we worked on identifying and drawing shapes,
in our school books, when we arrived.

We sang our circle songs in the morning and completed a
quick calendar in the afternoon.

In the morning, we picked a fruit or vegetable from the garden basket. We told our friends what we picked at the garden. We like to talk into the microphone. We had time for half of the class and everyone else will take a turn tomorrow.

Miss Kathy shared a poster that showed how a sunflower grows. To help us remember, we acted out how the plant starts from a seed, then the shoot sprouts, it grows taller and, finally, the flower blooms!

We made sure to give our bean seed a drink of water!
Our seeds sit outside in the sun.

We all had fun designing a special flower, using many different materials. We are going to hang them in our class room!

It was too windy to play outside this morning. We didn't mind,
because we like to play inside, too!

We had fun playing outside on the playground this afternoon!
