A beautiful day for outside recess!

 

We started our morning with some new colored objects. We had fun exploring and sorting them by color. We also worked with puzzles.

 

 

Our afternoon started with how to form the capital V & W. We used the wooden pieces and completed our school book pages.

 

 

We sang our ABC's, practiced spatial concepts & counting with our shakey eggs.

We also worked as a team to build a Mat Man. Next, everyone got to draw their own Mat Man with our favorite color of rock crayon!

 

 

 

The afternoon class completed the calendar. We worked as a team to see how quickly we could order the letters of the alphabet in the chart!

 

 

In the morning, Miss Kathy shared a book about a silly puppy that was hiding. We all helped find Spot! (The children all seemed to enjoy the Spot book. There are several Spot books available in the series.)

 

 

In the afternoon, Miss Kathy shared a book about some silly dogs. We used numeral cards to help us count backwards from ten dogs to zero dogs!
