SUMMER BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS!

Today was the end of an outstanding year of learning with our friends.

We went out in a big, fun way!

 

We worked as teams to build Mat Man. Then each of us drew our own Mat Man. I sent home the beginning of the year Mat Man with some of the afternoon kids. Just look at how our skills have grown!
 

 

We enjoyed one final circle and calendar together.
 

 

Miss Kathy brought out the big parachute for us!

This was a big exercise in self-control and listening today.

As you can see, we were successful and there were lots of giggles!
 

 

Miss Carly has been the best volunteer ever. As she continues her studies to become an early childhood educator, we gave her a great book to add to her collection! We loved having her read it to us!

Then each one of us got a copy of the same book!
 

 

We sang Happy Birthday to our friends with summer birthdays and

enjoyed a sweet treat!
 

 

 

The students in the afternoon class each received the "magic hug", that turned them into kindergarteners, as they left our class.

They may be gone from our class, but they remain in my heart forever!
