WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY!

The morning class enjoyed starting their days with puzzles and books.

"I did it!"

The afternoon class began with the children finding their partners/team.
They had to go to the area that had a picture that went together with a
picture card that I handed them. Then they worked cooperatively to
order the capital letters. They have to go in alphabetical order.
What nice team work!

We sang our morning learning songs, then we worked our large motor skills
and coordination with a super fun obstacle course by Miss Melani!
We ended with some calming yoga to prepare us to complete
 our learning tasks.

Miss Melani's helper!

The afternoon class worked on alphabet fluency. I am seeing nice growth!
We sang our new letter sounds song. Then we completed the calendar.
We also had a very fun time with the obstacle course and yoga.

Miss Kathy shared a fun riddle book about bugs (or as we
are learning to call them "insects").

Miss Julie worked on some sequencing based on The Hungry Caterpillar
story, with her AM & PM Wednesday groups.

Miss Kathy & Miss Cindy's Am groups enjoyed a silly story about
a frog that liked to eat bugs. Then we practiced identifying numerals
 and counting sets of insects.

In the afternoon, Miss Cindy & Miss Kathy worked with their groups on
writing the letter "S". It may seem tricky, but not for us! We know
that you make a curve, turn and curve back!
