WEDNESDAY...

This morning we enjoyed working with puzzles and ABC's.

 

The afternoon began with finishing our Bee Ball books from Tuesday.
 We finished coloring the balls. We knew what color each ball should be
because we can read color words! We practiced reading our books.
 We are learning to touch under each word as we read it. We know
that sometimes we can look at the pictures, along with letter sounds,
 to help us figure out the words!

 

 

Morning circle consisted of our songs and counting bees

with the whisper phones.

 

The afternoon class worked on alphabet fluency, letters sounds

 and completed the calendar.

 

Back by popular demand, Miss Melani brought the climbing obstacle

 course. We also moved through our yoga poses.

 

Miss Kathy shared a book with beautiful photos of bugs. We learned some

 fun facts about different insects and that insects can be many colors.

 (We also learned about Dung Beetles...YUCK!)

 

Miss Julie & her Wednesday groups worked on spatial concepts with the

hungry caterpillar. Where is it?
 

 

 

 

Miss Carley & Miss Cindy worked with their Wednesday morning groups

 to count bees and identify colors and numerals.
 

 

In the afternoon, Miss Cindy & Miss Kathy worked with their Wednesday groups on correctly forming the letter "J".

 

Enjoy your spring break next week. I will be out of town tomorrow & Friday, but will look forward to seeing everyone back on March 24. There will be a qualified substitute here for me the rest of this week.
