TERRIFIC TUESDAY !!

It is always so wonderful to return to school after a break!

 We are all refreshed, healthy and happy to be together!

 

Our day started with outside play!

 

 

We sang our learning songs in morning circle.

 

 

The afternoon class also completed the calendar lesson.

 

Miss Kathy shared a book about caterpillars.

 

 

 We counted caterpillars, practiced ordinal numbers in the afternoon

 (first, second...) & discussed facts about the food chain. We learned

that many animals will eat a caterpillar, but real caterpillars eat leaves!

 

 

Next, we worked in smaller groups to practice counting and

identifying numerals. We colored the numerals by listening 

to teacher directions. We cut the numerals apart and will save

them to complete a project later this week.

 

 

We were all happy to return to school!
