The ants were marching today!

We began our day working puzzles or reading books together.

We enjoyed singing the alphabet and our color songs in the morning.
We also used our whisper phones to count ants.

The afternoon class enjoyed working with the alphabet, too. We point
to each letter as we say it. I am stressing to the children that if we
use our eyes, mouths, ears and hands, we make learning easier for our
brains. We sang the letter sounds song and completed the calendar.

When the bell rings, everyone must stop, look & listen!

Miss Kathy shared two books today. One gave us facts about ants.
It is a science book. The other was fun to hear, because there
was a song to go with it.

Miss Melani had a fun ants themed obstacle course for us today!

We worked with our numbers from yesterday. We glued them down in
order from 1-10 or 1-20. Then we cut apart some ant pictures. We
glued one ant next to each number. We had 10 numbers so we had
10 ants! Everyone was a hard worker!

Another fun day learning together at school!
