Winter is here!

Our day began with exploring beads, blocks & cubes. Not only are we working on our fine motor & visual-perception skills, we also practice our social skills, as we talk & work with our friends!

Of course, we worked on name writing in the afternoon!

We sang our ABC song this morning. We also listened to a new finger play about ways to use our hands.

After we completed calendar in the afternoon, Miss Kathy talked about winter. We looked at a globe. We saw where the land is and noticed that the water is blue on a globe. We learned about how the earth tilts away from the sun in winter and that's why it is colder.

Miss Kathy read a story about a girl that loves the snow.

We worked our way through our winter obstacle course. We walked ON the line, went OVER some high obstacles, rolled DOWN the wedge and walked with our hands & feet on the markers! Obstacle courses are fun!

Next, we counted & worked on making patterns with some winter shapes!

The morning class had a few minutes of play time!!

Peek-a-boo!!

Be sure to check back tomorrow to see what exciting things we do next!!
